I’m Chelsea Jacobsen.
In 2019, I started helping friends with their design and renovation projects. I never imagined that my passion for design, which had been kindling since adolescence, would blossom into a professional interior design business.
What started as sharing friendly opinions and recommendations evolved into virtual interior design services for clients across the U.S., and even new home builds.
As a child growing up in a disordered and unstable household, I was deeply impacted by persistent turmoil outside of my control. So when my mom let me paint my bedroom walls as a teenager (a deep, broody color that now raises my blood pressure), I tasted the satisfaction of controlling even one small part of my surroundings.
Today, I’m the mother of two boys, and alongside my husband, I’ve created an environment for them that feels safe, light, and disarming—as home should feel.
My mission now is to pair thoughtful, beautiful design with creative problem-solving to guide you along a rejuvenating transformation of your own.
I specialize in organic modern design. I find it easy on the eyes and soothing to the soul. I love its natural tones, textures, and materials that mimic the calming effect of nature, and how versatile this style is. Organic modern design is easily adapted to meet my clients’ unique needs for both elegance and function.
But home design is uniquely personal, so I spend time getting to know your aesthetic preferences and the particular needs of your lifestyle. Then, I join these together to give you a space that captures your personality with class, comfort, and practicality.
Because in the end, your space should reflect everything that’s special about you (not your designer).
As a one-woman operation, I’m selective about the projects I take on at any given time. When you work with me, you can expect a personal touch and a collaborative, boutique experience.
